Hi, I'm Leah Payne

I'm a postpartum and birth doula serving families on the South Shore of Massachusetts. I started First Chapter because the first weeks with a new baby are tender, joyful and tiring all at once, and no parent should have to figure them out alone.

I have one year of experience supporting families, and I'm continuing to learn with every one I meet. My goal is simple: help you feel rested, capable and cared for.
